And if sport isn’t your thing, no problem! The castles and medieval villages of Trentino are not to be missed, the closest of these being the castles of Beseno, Noarna, Toblino, Arco and Avio. Another must while in the area is the village of Tenno and neighbouring Canale di Tenno, two of Italy’s most charming villages where you will breathe in a truly medieval air.

A visit to Trentino would not be complete without a visit to the famous Buonconsiglio Castle in the city of Trento, MART – the Trento and Rovereto Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art and MUSE – Trento’s Science Museum.
 
And if all this is not enough, then book yourself up for a food and wine tour to taste some of the local products, such as the extra virgin olive oil and the excellent wines of Lake Garda.
